Please Note:
​HAWC will be closed on the following days/times*:
Monday, May 7th 12PM-3PM (mandatory training)
Monday, May 26th (Memorial Day)
Thursday, June 19th (Juneteenth)


*The Call Center will operate as normal during the morning of May 7th 8:30-noon and after 3PM. It will also operate as normal on the days before and after the above holidays.
​Please be aware clients might experience a slight increase in their wait times due to staff scheduling.

​Organizations that specialize in services for veterans, youth, and those experiencing intimate partner domestic violence should be contacted directly.  Please see the contact information below:
  • Veterans: experiencing a housing crisis, contact the Veteran Administration (VA) at (734) 845-5058.
  • Youth: ​ages 10-17 who are homeless or runaway, contact Ozone House at (734) 662-2222.
  •  If you are experiencing intimate partner Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault, contact SafeHouse Center at (734) 995-5444.

    Please be aware that in order for HAWC staff to assist you with an intake and to book an appointment for your shelter or housing need you will be asked to provide full social security numbers for all in the household.  Please have those numbers available when you call.  You will also be asked to clarify who is currently living in your household (e.g. household size).  If anyone living in the household is over the age of 18 years they will need to verbally consent to a Release of Information (ROI).
